[Heeplist] Celebration released on vinyl

I ignored the Street Team idea, only because I don't have the time (and in
my opinion) it would not work here. You cannot force people to like music.
I gave a family member on the wife's side an ipod. He was in rehab and I
thought I was doing a wonderful thing. I filled it with all my Uriah Heep
music as UH is the only music I have in MP3 form. (Sorry to the Flax
lovers.) Anyhow, I found out he did not appreciate it and called it shit
music.

Secondly if I was going to spend all that time promoting Uriah Heep, I do
not have the time. I work a full time day job like most on the list, plus
work 5 nights a week at our family business Jump Street Skate Park. An
indoor skate park. I also go to Chamber of commerce events to promote the
business, sponsor things, spend time on Facebook, which I hate, but it gets
the word out fast to the kids. So what I am trying to say, is the street
team idea sounded like too much work and time. (for me) so I am not
criticizing the idea, I am just saying I do not have the time. And I chose
not to comment on it for fear of being attacked on the list for my opinion.
I got attacked two week ago just for saying I did not have the time to go
rent a "Death" video on netflix.

As for the talk about vinyl, I could not care less about such an antiquated,
outdated, useless technology that I gave up on in the early 80's I do have
all heep vinyl releases up to Conquest, and Equator, I am missing Head
First. I have not touched them in decades, except for moving (as in pack
and unpack)

Lastly in 18 years on the list, I have never seen the dictation of list
content work. I am sure several are having a good time chatting on a heep
related topic and those who choose not to participate can choose the delete
button.

It is not for us to comment on Louis situation, who I thought was in
Holland. He has not been on the list in 10 years, he ran out on us, like
all the Heep webmasters did. This is my opinion but I feel like they
abandoned us for facebook.

I come to the list and listen to Uriah Heep music to escape reality, not to
discuss world events and tragedies.
