I just got the new Helix CD Bastard Of The Blues and was very pleasantly 
surprised. This has to be my favorite CD of the year so far (runners up are 
Michael Sweet's I'm Not Your Suicide and John Fullbright's Songs). This has 
the classic Helix sound but the quality of the songs themselves were the 
biggest surprise. First 2 songs are the title track and Even Jesus (Wasn't 
Loved In His Hometown). Both would be surefire rock radio hits if such a 
thing still existed. The songs just keep coming from there. 

Are you still out there Kevin? This is the best music to come out of Canada 
since Sass Jordan was in her prime in the early 90's. Still not quite as 
good as Kansas though lol
