Nah, Madman's referring to their classic Live Album, which I always include in the list of great early 70s live albums.

That said, Caught in the Act is nearly as good, but is mid70s.  Grand Funk were one of the first bands to release 2 outstanding live albums that decade. Deep Purple's Made in Europe is in the same class, but it was a posthumous release.

BTW, I have a real soft spot for CitA. It was one of my very first live albums I ever bought.

Is that Caught In The Act? I just listened to that recently for the first 
time in decades and it is just great. Very high energy. Don Brewer's drums 
are as in front of the mix of any live album I've ever heard.

One of the best live albums released in the early 70s, first we had Humble 
Pie, Rocking the Fillmore, then Deep Purple Made in Japan,  Uriah Heep Live 
1973, and ELP Welcome Back My Friends, the big four live albums that came 
out when I was in high school.
