we also use the numbered system .. upon further study of 78 rpm records,
some pressed in the early 1900s went from mid 60s rpm up to 80s depending
on who made what record for what brand of player , .. we also had cylinder
records before that . My step dad has a collection of those. thanks to
all.. I just wondered what they were called around the world..also there
were 16rpm that were usually spoken word or educational discs
