btw Iain, - eddie St James has quite a good hard rock album just released. Fontaine is not on it, but I hope to be interviewing Eddie soon. Years back I do think Fontaine was a candidate for the VH job.

I have a bunch of Steve's stuff as well, including a tape of the one-off show he did with Iain Ashley Hersey. I thought the Heartache City album was pretty decent, tho the production not so great. He was a fan of the Goalby era of Heep, hence the Heartache City name. there is some more current stuff of him on youtube [I've posted occastionally to my UH fb page] .

I have the Heartache City cd along with the Joshua self titled and Ringleader If Licks Could Kill albums with Steff on vocals. He has a great voice for rock and the Joshua and Heartache City are excellent albums.
Last time I heard of Steff he was working on an album with Eddie St James. Eddie played with Van Halen in the past. That was a few years ago now so I presume this album never materialised.
