Sorry but I tend to disagree a bit here with you, David, - yes, some people even don't notice covers today at all since they buy (or steal) downloads but, on the other hand, others like me still do buy LPs. And I doubt labels and musicians ignore that fact.

Back then you would really look at the cover while listening to the album even passing to around to your friends while listening. I think the fact cds are so small they are almost meaningless and have little to do with the music on the album. DS
