I have to say, as a younger generation obsessed fan, that I do like the Nail
on the Head song as it has quite a nice beat, and the music video definitely
helps with the publicity, even though I haven't noticed it being so popular
here in Scotland. I don't know how good Wake The Sleeper album did, even
though they toured all around the place with it. Other than that, besides
the Corridors of Madness and Only Human songs, the Into the Wild album is
the only new original album they've done since Sonic Origami in 98, so it's
natural they'd want to include some songs from there. Even though it doesn't
have much classic Heep sound, I think it's still pretty good heavier rock :)
Regarding the show, I personally would have preferred some more classic
songs like Circle of Hands or would have killed for Paradise - The Spell.
But I guess they try to vary the setlist during each concert they record?
And it was nice to hear some stuff from the newest albums, though I think
they could have done Angels Walk With You as a tribute to Trevor, even
though Between Two Worlds was a great one as well, but they didn't even say
that one was for Trevor.
Overall, I think the gig was a fantastic one, even though except the two new
songs - which were ace - the setlist was the same as what it was during the
wee UK tour prior to Koko show. :)
