Igor, just took your advise and listened to Song For A Brother about 10 minutes ago and it brought tears to my eyes……..not only because of the absolute beauty of the the keyboards, but also sad knowing that we lost Stevie Hill. His passing has given me a reason to go back and listen to Bloodrock and I have found them to actually sound better now than they did back in the 70’s.
I did the same thing Dave did, I listened to Bloodrock day and night for about a year and a half, then discovered Heep and it was a natural progression from Bloodrock to Heep because of the organ and piano in both groups. R.I.P. Stevie, I will visit you often through your music !
