 Perhaps, there were some similarities in the sound of both bands, Heep and Bloodrock, but, hey, if you think he was "nearly as good" :)), you shold re-listen to Song For A Brother. Steve Hill wasn't that prolific as a poet/composer, but as far as playing concerned... think twice :))
