I was there too. An excellent gig and very different, which was what made it
a special one-off.
The Mermaid Theatre was an excellent venue too.

dissapeared ?

Acoustically Driven was actually my first Live Heep show, even though I was
a fan since 1974. It seems like the few times I could go see Heep, the
timing was bad, or I did not have the money etc.

I originally found out about AD when I signed up for the Heep Subscription
package and pledged before Heep did the concert. (by the way it was 13
years ago in case anyone is scrutinizing the post and checking facts). I
seem to remember someone on the list pointing out that package Heep
management sent to all the Pledges had 2 tickets to the AD concert. I think
it was Jay that pointed it out. So I decided to go and have never regretted
it.

What was really cool about the AD show, we all knew it was being recorded.
After the show, Bob C went onstage and said that several songs did not come
out right, so the band came back out and played 4 songs over. That was just
so awesome!! Talk about the perfect encore!!!

Disclaimer:
My intention with the above post is to share a recollection from the year
2000 and there is no intent to offend anyone that may be checking the facts.
