It says right in the liner notes that the last recordings for this album were done in 1970, and that these were David's last such recordings.

I have a question about the Sprit in the Sky cd, does anyone know the year
it was recorded.  Did David do these songs Pre Heep, Post Heep or while a
member of Heep?
