[Heeplist] are we ever going to talk about Uriah Heep again ??????????????

Dunno, but I'm sure there's someone out there with the pipes to come close
to his level of ability.  I've seen enough replacements for vocalists I
thought couldn't be replaced to know it's possible.

One example was the 90s incarnation of Creedence Clearwater Revisited with
Elliot Easton on lead guitar and some guy whose name I don't remember on
vocals.  Both of them were dead ringers for John Fogerty in their
respective roles and the band live sounded as close to the original CCR as
you'd ever hope to get.  At least to my ears...

As for the Black Crowes, I haven't listened to them in recent years, but my
recollection is they didn't do much for me, or at least not on the level of
HP.  I do own their first CD, so I should probably give that another
listen.  If you insist...
