Yeah, was just going to recommend No Remorse myself.  It's a good starting 
place.  Lemmy is about greasy, biker rock with no frills, just meat and 
potatoes riffage with lyrics full of not so subtle innuendos.  As Igor said, 
no resemblance to Heep.  The early stuff is definitely the place to start, 
but he hasn't slacked off much, if at all, quality-wise in later years.

Overkill, Ace Of Spades, Bomber - those are the best. The rest is.. also
very good (the earlier - the better), but it's like with AC/DC really, you
always know what you're gonna get. Originals, with Filthy and Fast Eddie are
the best, no matter what any of us say. They are classic and timeless,
albeit totally unlike Heep :)))))))))
