It just indicates one's cultural level Dave. In the former USSR public usage of obscene language was a direct way for spending 15 days behind bars wiping the streets or doing some other high qualification work. And I sure do miss that time - now those words (Russian, in my case, and we have much more of them than in English) are almost everywhere around. That is the price we pay for relative freedom of speech, perhaps....
