Hmm, I've been away for a few days and come into this late. Igor, I don't intend to say much on this, it's past history and does nobody any good to rake it up again. For your information I can confirm that John Wetton was not alright for MBP 2001.

 OK, but I've heard him with cold many a time (which is typical for chain smokers) - still better to me than Lee :) And John Wetton was definitely alright. So the band simply didn't want them as anything much than special guests with limited abiities. That seemed safer for the current Heep reputation, as far as I get it. Business as usual.

And if you listen closely, you will hear that on the announcements he makes between songs. What you hear on the DVD does not at all sound like what was to be heard live. His voice was not spent, he was just and simply sick.
