I guess, we all need some money, musicians do it for the money, and these performers are no worse than the rest of their age group. In general. And all the rest is details. Black Sabbath new album, although not flawless (I mean recording and a divided rhythm section), is an event whatever you say (despite it ain't a complete reunion), tour-wise... Ozzy was never a "singer" really, more of a performer, and the performer he remains - Sharon has nothing to do with it. He'd never go doin' what he doesn't really like. And I'd love to see them live. Yes, better with Bill, but even this line-up is no worse for classic rock history than, say, relatively recent LZ show in O2 Arena. And, to prove the doubtful they are wrong, I'll add: Sabbath cared to record a decent album in comparison to that "trio LZ" version, so it is not quick money anyway.
Cheers, Igor

>To quote Bernie Shaw "You hit the nail right on the head"  It can be quite excruciating seeing performers who should have given it up long ago. I guess they need some money.

>Let me start by saying that I feel about Black Sabbath the way most of you feel about Heep.  However based on videos I've seen of the first couple of shows, and people's reactions I hate to say it but Sabbath are done.  It's not the same without Bill - they can't say it's a "reunion" if he's not involved.  I don't even know who's playing drums and honestly couldn't care less.  Ozzy has become a parody of himself  -- its almost like people are coming to shows just to see if he makes it to the end.  Tony's and Geezer's playing  - while still almost flawless - is wasted backing that clown. don't get me wrong - I love Ozzy so much - but it's like he's Sharon's puppet - as long as he's got breath in his lungs she's going to shove him up onstage for a quick money grab.

>I love Sabbath but if this would have been just an Ozzy show no way I would have gone. Musicianship was good. ozzy was more saying/singing a lot of songs. Had a good time but that is it? for me with Sabbth live. I have a feeling this might be the last tour of these guys.
