Well stated, I could not agree more. He's definitely not a show-off, butI do remember a live bootleg with Heep, where he cut loose a bit more. I need to find that back - it's somewhere on my hard drive :-D

Eddie,
I value good bassists and must say Daisley was (and hopefully is) one of the most famous players in hard rock. But there is one minor problem - anywhere he's been playing bass is perhaps the least interesting albeit solid instument. He delivers but without anything special. High level pro. Typical of the age. And not a show-off.
