Hi Wayne, I feel your pain. Back in 2010 I was out of work almost the whole
year and had to start applying for jobs below my skill level and experience.
I finally landed a job because I was on Linked in. I just searched for you
there, did not find you. Anyhow, I got an email update that John M is now a
sales manager with Aramark. I know he admired my work at a company we both
had worked at previously, even though I never worked for him directly. I
sent him an email with my resume attached. He gave me a shot, when no one
else was because of my age.

I am heartily recommending Linked in. Put up a professional picture (not
like a face book one lol) and type in your experience and accomplishments.
Then search for every one you can remember that you ever worked with and
connect with them. Let them know you are in the market for a job, and who
knows maybe someone from the past will remember and get you in. I gave
Iain the same advice. Make sure you both connect with me. Also if you
apply to Staples, let me know and I will get you looked at.

By the way are you anywhere near Burbank, CA? Aramark Uniforms is
headquartered there and always looking for district managers, drivers and
sales folk. They are a big growing company. I was there 2 years

Bob
