I don't analyze I go but what ears tell me. I just listened again to first 5 tracks. I really love Weirdistan and track one. He'll to pay is good too. Outside of track one not overly impressive on vocals but the keyboard work screams out!!! I am highly impressed with how out front they are. I was not impressed with their last few CDs. Is it really 8 years? Well I like this one and stuff is jumping out at me. I hope you are not saying I am wrong for liking what I hear. By the way my first cd purchase of year (non Heep or Hensley). DP is back with a vengeance!!!

I analyzed the structure, listened to the album quite frequently... and found out for myself it is no better and no worse than all that have ever been recorded with Morse. The same vein: good playing, some tracks stand out (I'd rather say track, because to me only "All The Time In The World" is worth making it to and imaginery collection of DP if someone would like to gather one), Gillan' voice mostly recorded many a time which wasn't the case in the glory days and speaks of certain things, and the sound is quite... cotton-wooly-bubble-gummy if you get my point. But OK. Nice hammond at times. As for me, I fancy Bananas a bit more as well as Purpendicular, the rest is just ok for me, and this ain't no exclusion.
