Hi Igor

Thanks a lot for the review. It's interesting because there was
nothing mentioned at the website so I guess this was a free for all
concert?

A friend of mine had noticed there's a video over 30 minutes long at Youtube:

>>>
>>> Well, as promised, here we go, gentlemen...
>>> First of all, this was a free event, so anyone could see Heep on
>>> that nice Moscow evening. It was a so-called Art-Football festival
>>> where we have various amateur artists from different coutries that
>>> participate in an international tournament (on that day they were
>>> from Estonia and Japan). The programm started at 6 pm, and Heep,
>>> as the headliners, entered the stage appr. 10 pm. 22:04, to be
>>> exact. By that time there were from 500 to 1000 people in the open
>>> hall of the Zelyoniy teatr (green theatre). Here's the setlist:
>>> Intro/Against the Odds, Overload, Stealin, Between Two Worlds,
>>> Gypsy, Look At Yourself, July Morning, Lady In Black, encore: Easy
>>> Livin'. They left the stage at 23:05, so an hour of Heep music was
>>> there for all to enjoy. Did they enjoy it? I believe, the ones who
>>> were in the front rows, including your humble servant :))), did,
>>> as for the seated crowd - later various people told me their
>>> different impressions, and here are some of the highlights, if you
>>> please: "Grea
>>> t old songs, not that impressive more modern ones", "Very loud",
>>> "The charisma of the old band is almost gone", "Great performance
>>> from Mick Box", "Bernie's voice is not good". If you want to know
>>> what I make of it, I'll tell you the following: the set was very
>>> well balanced and to me this band's tunes go more than well with
>>> the rest which are golden classics. Despite being a huge fan of
>>> John's, it was good to see Bernie back, and his voice was ok. He
>>> himself  appearet to be in a good mood an visibly liked the way
>>> moscovites and our city's guests welcomed the band. All other
>>> members of the band were almost like Bernie mood-wise, but it
>>> seemed to me that they still grieve the loss of the friend.
>>> Perhaps, it's only my imagination, but they talked less, no jokes,
>>> no funny stuff, even Mick's gestures seemed discreet - or did it
>>> only seem to me? But no words about Trevor, no dedications.
>>> Honestly, I do not know right or wrong, but that's the way that it
>>> was... Dave Rimmer was good aga
>>> in, now he played a different red-coloured bass (the one used in
>>> Padova was black), but knowing that Trevor will never return back
>>> made me look at him from a different angle. Yes, he is good and
>>> very skilled, nice fingering technique - but he doesn't sing at
>>> all, and something is missing in the playing manner... perhaps,
>>> yet. Still, he is closer to being a Heep bassist then Russell to
>>> being a Heep drummer. But that's another story, they are a very
>>> good band overall, and they proved it once again yesterday.
>>> P.S. There was a new merchandise already, funny pictures of the
>>> current line-up (on the flyers we still had Trevor) in white on a
>>> black t-shirt, cost appr. 53 dollars. They are very quick, I must
>>> admit, and perhaps this approach means only one thing: the show
>>> must go on whoever comes and goes. And Heep are busy touring, they
>>> have no time for mourning (which seems right to me, hate cryers
>>> and crying itself), they enjoy themselves as they can, and, like
>>> one fairytale hero, Carlsson who lives on the roof, they flew away
>>> but promised to return. In October, to be exact.
>>> P.P.S. I have pictures, if anyone needs.
