Maybe not as direct as that.  Odds are that he is not dying, but it would be
nice to know if he is on schedule. Especially after what happened to Trevor.
They could be proactive and say "Bernie is fine and will be returning with
us as scheduled in June"

Or unofficially, someone could say, I got an email from Bernie, he is ok.

I cannot accept the fact that no one knows or has had any contact.
