[Heeplist] A Gig in Padova, Italy

This one is special to me, I listened to it on the way to a Heep concert in Ohio in 2001. At that concert I met all of the band, they all signed it. I also met and sat beside Bob!

The best thing is I specifically talked about this "official bootleg" with Trevor. I remember he said he had Electrically Driven but hadn't got to listen to it yet. He was glad to have an official recording out, and that it was true to their sound! Awesome memories!

Doing justice to the band, I must say it is a good recording overall but I prefer original classic songs every now and then to the ones played by this line-up. Nothing wrong with them, just different energy, different singing style, different spiritual message, if you like. However, I must admit they are great overall, as a unit, and extremely impressive doing their things (penned mostly by Box/Lanzon) which are appr. 1/3 of the whole concert recording which lasts 64 minutes.
