[Heeplist] BBC E-mail: Bowie bassist Bolder dies aged 62

The Spiders from Mars period is my favorite Bowie period.  But if Trevor had not 
been 

with them, then his passing would have gone unknown for many.  Point being even 
though 

I followed Uriah Heep since the first album I did not know about David Byron's 
passing
until in 1994 I bought Ken Hensley's From Time To Time album and found it 
mentioned
in the liner notes.  Trevor's disappearance from Uriah Heep with be a big impact 
as he
was allowed the chance to write.  That will be missed.  And I predict that at 
next year's
eulogy at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies his name and photo will be 
shown with
the subtitle (former David Bowie, Spiders From Mars bassist).

I have no problem with it, though I do think they should at least mention Heep, 
but Bowie was so big with the Spiders I understand why they go with that, the 
press is all about headlines and Bowie is the bigger draw. Trevor also came into 
Heep after their prime and that's all they are remembered for. DS
