[Heeplist] Trevor Bolder+!

To say that I am saddened is an understatement, to say the least. I wrote
an E-Mail to Trevor just a few short hours after hearing about another
great legend's passing, Ray Manzarek+. I confided in him that I, too, had
similar health issues, although not yet quite as serious, and I sent words
of encouragement to him and by proxy to Bernie that I was confident that
they both can and will overcome their difficulties. Obviously, in Trevor's
case, I was wrong. Hope is deadly that way sometimes, and it will cut YOU
like a knife if given a glimmer of a chance. I had "hoped" to send Trevor
some words that I had written upon receiving his reply... I "hope" that YOU
all do not mind if I share them with YOU now.

The Great Beyond
by Rick Wilson

No more tears
no more sadness
dreams always come true
in the Great Beyond

No more sorrow
no more pain
happiness is yours, too
in the Great Beyond

[Chorus:]
A place on the horizon of tomorrow
where friends and family all gather
to comfort you and show they care
and the only weapon is a smile

No more panic
no more fear
No, terror does not exist here
in the Great Beyond

No more lies
no more hate
no more contradictions and no more fate
in the Great Beyond

[Repeat Chorus:]
[Repeating to fade:]
And, the only weapon is a smile
in the Great Beyond

I think that Trevor may have liked it, I would like to believe that
anyway. Today, my biggest fear regarding "Uriah Heep" is not whether they
will continue, but whether or not we will ever see Mick Box smile again;
because that is the truest magic that the band have ever given all of us
wannabes in this world.
