hits the Phoenix October 30th for benefit concert.
Helix, Andy Curran & Soho 69, Brighton Rock and Russ Dwarf
all on stage for one night only to aid fellow rocker, Carl Dixon!

Just announced, Helix, Andy Curran & Soho 69, Brighton Rock and
Russ Dwarf will perform a concert to benefit Carl Dixon and his
family. The concert will take place at The Phoenix Concert Theatre
in Toronto on Thursday, October 30th. Proceeds from the
event will go to defray the costs associated with Carl Dixons' near
fatal car accident that occurred 4 months ago in Australia. Carl was involved in a head on collision when traveling back from a recording studio where Carl was recording an album for the Australian TV Show The Saddle Club that features his daughter. The accident left Carl with 4 months of out-of-country medical bills along with many months of rehabilitation that he still endures. It will be some time before he is able to resume his music career and support his family. Taking the stage for the first time in over a decade, both Andy Curran & Soho 69 and Brighton Rock will appear with their original line ups. has assembled their original line ups. Joining Curran will be his original drummer Glenn Milchem now of Blue Rodeo, performing songs from their Coney Hatch catalog and beyond. |
Russ Dwarf was
the lead vocalist and co founder of the Killer Dwarfs formed in
1981. Russ is now fronting his new solo band for the first time in
Toronto (tricycle TBA??). |
