In Concert US TV Broadcast

This footage, filmed at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY has yet to surface but the information documented is from fans attending the show and many who saw the broadcast.  Speculation is the filming date was possibly August 26th after the Buffalo NY show.  These shows were not part of regular tour listings, but scheduled for filming purposes only.  Three songs are known from audio files obtained.  The original audio for the first two songs was included as bonus tracks on the Magic Night silver disc bootleg recording as bonus tracks with the Germersheim Germany May 21, 1972 recording.

The video itself was broadcast in the United States on ABC affiliated stations on a show called In Concert on September 28th of that year.   In Concert was another Don Kirshner created production and he was the original Executive Producer.   After the third show however Kirshner didn't seem to have much connection with the show but the production credits still listed it as a Don Kirshner Production.   In late 1973 he left officially to produce Don Kirshner's Rock Concert.   The show In Concert, which was aired every other Friday night continued until it was cut from the network in 1975.
